Ето и разказ на фен присъствал на сесията по раздаването на автографите и имал късмета да срещне Ейми!(Черната коса и стои страхотно,въпреки че е малко странно...)
FAN STORY FROM LAS VEGAS SIGNING 1/19/08
OK, where to begin. Well, the signing was in a tiny sports memorabilia store that had a bunch of GREAT stuff I'd like to get my hands on. I got there about 45 minutes before Amy did. There were a few people who also showed up and I think around 10 people when she got there, and the same when I left. There was a small TV on the counter behind the signing table that was playing Lita's DVD. I said that the way I found out about the signing was Amy's blog being sent to me by a friend and the store owner said she did a couple of local radio interviews, which is how he thought word got around. I wouldn't have had a clue if her blog wasn't pointed out to me.
Amy showed up and they set up everything at the table. First thing I noticed about her was her hair being "jet black". I thought it looked VERY nice, m'self, since I prefer brunettes anyway. She's a tiny thing, she is. I thought she looked great, but you probably knew that already.
After they set everything up the promoter pretty much just said "who's first?" so I went up and got to be the first one to meet her. I picked out what I wanted to get and paid, then I introduced myself and shook her hand. I gave her this little box of chocolates (that I just picked up with the camera on the way over) which she thanked me for. I said they're "for that sweet tooth of yours" which she smiled at and said something along the lines of "you know about that!"
To my surprise, although I guess I shoulda known, Amy brought copies of her CD and I bought a copy that she signed, which cost 15. I was thrilled about finally getting a copy. There were a few 8x10s to choose from, which I thought was nice. For 15 bucks I picked out the 8x10 that has a shot of her in a yellow bikini standing in waist high water, with the background all blue, from the 2005 divas shoot. I didn't have that one. She picked up a blue marker to sign it with and quickly noticed that wasn't going to work so she switched to silver.
I paid 15 bucks for the Polaroid you can have taken with her. She stood and we posed and... the camera didn't work. The guy fiddled around with it then we stood and posed again and... it still didn't work. Amy suggested that you're supposed to close it then open it again, which she tried herself a couple of times, putting her ear to it to listen if it turned on or not. The promoter changed out the film and we stood and posed again and... it worked this time. She then signed the bottom of it.
I asked if I could take a few pictures to send in to Amy-Net and she said sure. I took a shot and the flash didn't go off. She said I had to turn it on with the switch on the front, which I did. Someone mentioned that she seems to know about cameras, and I said she's "done a couple shoots here or there."
So I took another pic with the flash on this time, then asked her if I could get some shots of her new tattoos. She said "Um, OK, but they're not done yet." I said that was fine. She took off that sleeve of her jacket so I could see them and take pics. She's had quite a bit done. I asked if there was any story behind them or any particular reason why she was getting them and she said that they represented parts of her personality. Well... something to that effect.
Being the horror fan that she is, she went with the skulls and... something I can't quite remember. I haven't really gotten in to the horror movie thing, and certainly not on a level she has, so I can't remember the style she mentioned. But the basics are they represent a combination of what she likes and the horror stuff. For example, she pointed out skull versions of Pee Wee and 7 Seconds. I wish I could remember her explanation better but I was kinda excited and nervous at the time. Being up all night waiting for this doesn't help either!
She mentioned that this would be like a "sleeve", so maybe this is going to cover her whole arm. We'll have to wait and see.
I asked her how the rehab on her back was going, to which she said "wow you really keep up on things, don't you?" She said that she has 5 discs that are troublesome. Getting them fused would leave her more or less immobile (until it healed at least; for about a year would be my guess, but don't take my word for it) so she just has to deal with it. She rehabs them in the morning, I believe. She mentioned the plane ride over was rather tough to sit through, as you might imagine. Poor dear. Well I guess there's a bright side in that when I said it could be worse, she seemed to REALLY agree! We know she's had worse, after all, and I think she does too.
I thanked her and she said goodbye and I went outside to call for my ride home. It's then that it dawned on me that I should probably get another copy of her CD, since I very much wouldn't want to play the copy that she signed for me so I went back in and got one unsigned for 10 bucks. It was friggin cold out anyway so I was happy to be back inside. 50 degrees out... How do people in the Antarctic live like this????
Anyway... Someone asked her who she would want to wrestle again if she came back for a match, and she said Trish. That reminded me of her appearance on TV and I mention how everyone at Amy-Net went nuts over her appearance at the Raw 15th Anniversary show, which she appreciated. She was also asked about the PPV coming up and she said she hasn't really watched wrestling in about a year. Someone asked her if she liked Mickie James and she said she did.
I mentioned everyone at Amy-Net sends their love, which she also appreciated. She then mentioned likely seeing Nicole when the Luchagors do a show in... something starting with an "M" that I can't remember. I said I would pass that along and she said OK, so there ya have it. More or less....
She seems like a very nice person. Basically everything that I've heard about her from other people who've met her. Easy to approach, easy going, very friendly. All that good stuff. I thought the signed 8x10 and the signed Polaroid were 20 bucks each but adding it up now I think I paid 15. I guess I spent around 80 bucks altogether, WAY more then I was planning on, but the spur-of-the-moment got the better of me and meeting Amy was worth EVERY last penny. I left very satisfied and couldn't be happier with the experience. Especially for my first autograph signing session.
I just wish I could remember the finer details to report. I also forgot to mention to her how much I liked her hair. LOL Or to ask if the Luchagors were planning on doing a show in Sin City anytime soon. Oh well. I hope you enjoyed my incredibly long winded report!
